Carhire Coach Services Ferries < Domestic Flights International Flights International Charter Flights	During the summer season there are daily ferry services between several of the Aegean Resorts and the closer Greek Islands. The Turkish ferries leave between 08h30 and 10h00 and return late afternoon. Advance passenger booking is recommended. Car ferry services do not operate every day, so it is essential to check availability and to make a reservation in advance. For day return trips from Turkey, Greek departure taxes are waived for the return leg of the journey. If you are departing from Greece or returning to Turkey on an 'open return' ticket, you will have to pay a tax of approximately €12, per person, directly to the Greek port authorities. Turkish taxes are included in the prices shown, Greek taxes are NOT included.

€URO CONVERSION

FERRIES BETWEEN RHODES - KOS - ATHENS

There are daily passenger and vehicle ferry services between Pireas (Port of Athens) and the Greek Islands of Lesbos, Chios, Samos, Kos and Rhodes. From these Islands there are daily ferry connections with the Turkish resorts. during the summer season from May to September.

At the present time we are not able to make reservations on ferry services that begin and end in Greece, however we have included details of the daily Athens - Kos - Rhodes service, since during the winter season, this is the only Greek ferry service that allows a car ferry connection with Turkey via the Kos-Bodrum service.

It is not usually necessary to pre-book the Greek ferry services, tickets can be obtained at the port on the day of departure. Reservations are recommended during public holidays and at weekends during the summer season months of July and August.

During the winter season, departures may be delayed or cancelled because of bad weather, in which case subsequent departures can become busy.
